Protein Style Acai Bowl

This morning I decided to try something a little different. After eating egg whites, oatmeal, and yogurt almost everyday for breakfast I thought that expanding my taste buds would be a fun and delicious experience!

First, take one pack of frozen Acai from the freezer. Each pack contains a good amount of Acai so don’t worry if you think it doesn’t look like enough!

Next, thaw out the pack a little by running it under cold water. It can stay cold, just not completely frozen. Cut open the pack and toss it into your blender with a splash of water, half a banana, one tablespoon of raw peanut butter, and one scoop of bod•e vanilla protein. (Email me about the protein!)

Blend blend blend! Then pour into your favorite dish.

My toppings were very minimal. Because I added banana and peanut butter to the mix I decided to avoid more fruit on top. Keep those LDL levels low, and instead I sprinkled some organic granola, raw honey and a tablespoon of raw almond butter. DELICIOUS!

This recipe is so simple and very easy to make your own. There are countless ingredients you can add into your bowl and I definitely plan on experimenting, so stay tuned!
